Hi-tech microfibre technology creates a world first in Type 5/6 protection. New Candex™ is a 5-ply microporous fabric with two outer layers of spun-bonded polypropylene providing strength and durability whilst three middle layers filter out any chemical splash and dust. In addition to providing excellent chemical barrier properties, the Candex™ Coverall is the most comfortable Type 5/6 coverall available, much lighter and more breathable than previous chemical barrier fabrics. Highly effective at holding out dust particles and chemicals and meeting Type 5/6 standards, microporous Candex™ is far lighter and more breathable than any similar product on the market, in fact using 20% less raw materials to achieve a superior performance.

CANDEX FABRIC: New hi-tech microfibre technology creates a world first in Type 5/6 protection. Candex™ is a new generation of microporous fabric. Using micro-technology, it has excellent chemical barrier properties as well as being the most comfortable 5/6 fabric. The main difference between Candex™ and other chemical barrier fabrics is that it is much lighter and more breathable. New Candex™ is a 5-ply fabric. There are three middle layers which act as filters and these are sandwiched between two layers of spun-bond polypropylene. These outer layers provide strength and durability whilst the middle layers hold out chemical dust and splash.
